De Filipijnen!

Hello everybody!
Right now I'm on the Philipines! WOW What a country....well city ...Manila, because we've not yet got the oppertunity to go into the country!
Last week we were in Belgium! That was the best closure of Europe ever!!! We were in Leuven...yes the big studentcity! And I stayed in a drom..an old monestery (klooster) where 170 students were living! So we had our own room...and no curfew...since we didn't really have a hostfamily!! Yessss I hear you say PARTY...but this week was so busy that we didn't really have time to party.. This week we worked with an artist Koen van Mechelen and he is known for his CosmopolitanChicken. Very interesting...And together with Sister Duvos we created the CosmoGolum... a wooden sculpture which is 4 meters high and carries dreams from childeren around. After we finished it the CosmoGolum left to Chili to help the childer over there taking care of there dreams and hopes! Very cool! That day was the day of hope! And than the show....right about 2500 people in the audience!! WOEHOE it was huge! We had a guestmc...(someone that talkes troughout the show) a famoues radiopresentor and we had a guest preformance of the 2nd belgium idol! That was cool to! But that was the most exhausting day...the people in the dorm started @ 6 in the morning and we were done @ 2:10 at night!!! But it was a very good day!
And we met great people living in the dorm! We had a lot of fun!!
And now yes the Filipines! What an adventure! People are driving like crazy...eating strange things furtelised eggs (...bevruchte kippeneieren) Chickenleggs...Chickenheads...etc. etc. I'm hosted with Lauren from the USA and we don't have a working shower...we use a big bucket to shower...everybody is really nice and we are starting 2morrow with building houses in the slobs! Today we went there and looked around...and this is what you normaliy only on the television see! People living in small "houses" with 10 children etc. etc. It's interesting to see it and exiting to go and work with these people!
Ow and yess there was a carbomb! And the politician that was supposed to bekilled is killed...and it was in the area were we live, but there is no emediate treath to us...this could hapen everywere and so don't worry!
And yessssss that was it for now! WoW the malls are SO big over here! And every thing is really cheap! SWEET!
That was really it! I don't have any pictures yet...and I'm sorry for my spelling mistakes...but I'm writing this pretty fast ;)

Wow, de filipijnen al weer! Helemaal geweldig! Lijkt me wel heel hard om te zien al die mensen die het niet goed hebben. Lekker tegenstrijdig met die grote winkelcentra's....
Veel succes daar met bouwen!
En ja toch veel plezier in de winkelcentra's, toch erg leuk :)
